New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Nishikant Dubey on Wednesday wrote to Lok Sabha Speaker to move a breach of privilege motion notice against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Lok Sabha over his links with billionaire Gautam Adani.

He said Rahul Gandhi’s statements were “misleading, derogatory and indecent”. Dubey in his letter accused Rahul Gandhi of violating rules by “misleading the house” and accusing PM Modi of crony capitalism without “documentary evidence”.

“While participating in the debate on Motion of Thanks to the President’s Address in Lok Sabha, Shri Rahul Gandhi, MP made certain unverified, incriminatory and defamatory statements… against Prime Minister without giving advance notice,” Dubey wrote in his letter.
